Everyday In The Name of The Martyrs of Army Public School & College, Peshawar
I remember going to my school the following day, I was at that time in 10th Grade in APS Westridge 3 RWP. Fear and anxiety, a tense atmosphere surrounded us. The strength of students was low that day, people were expecting a holiday but our college was open. Classes started but not the ordinary schedule. Whatever you do, you could not forget the horror. Prayers and Duas for the victims and their families were offered as well as Recitation of Quran on a daily schedule. On Friday, I went to school only to find out holidays were declared in light of Executions of Terrorists.
These events remind us that we are in the midst of a war. This is not related to good and easy, rocket science cannot explain this because, for a normal sane person, he cannot possibly imagine the brutal ways these terrorists use to strike us. It has become a war of Media and Virality.
These events also remind us that every hour, every day, perhaps this very second, there are people plotting to carry out deadly attacks. No matter what you do but one a person has decided to kill himself, no one can help him. He will take out himself and along with others who are present at the scene. It's only rapid thinking that can save at that moment.
And in light of all these events, we must remember to remain steadfast and stand with our Pakistan Armed Forces. These people sacrifice their lives, their sleep so that we can sleep safe and sound in our comfortable beds. These people go through vigorous training to help protect their motherland. It's not a question of Wealth or Respect. It's a question of Patriotism. We must be ready to offer the ultimate sacrifice for the integrity of our nation. For the sovereignty of our nation. For a better future of our country. To make Pakistan what it's founders wanted and fulfil the vision of Quaid and Iqbal. Only through Hard work can we fight these scoundrels and destroy the deepest roots of terrorism within our society.
We must also remember to never fear these scums. I remember reading editorials of how Parents were afraid to send their children to Schools especially those of APS. By God, would you actually be afraid of these idiots? Fear is another thing but at least have faith in the Security forces which work day and night for safety and gives the ultimate sacrifice for us each day. Remember, Martyrs are not dead, they are with us. Allah says in the Holy Quran:
“Do not think of those who are killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Indeed, they are living in the presence of their Lord and are well provided for. Jubilant are they because of what Allah has bestowed on them of His bounty, and rejoicing at the happy news that those who have not joined them, but are left behind, shall have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve. They rejoice at the glad tiding of Allah’s grace and bounty and that Allah will not allow the reward of the believers to be lost. ” [The Family of Imran — “Aale Imran” 3: 169-171]Have faith in your Armed Forces and above all, Have Faith in Allah Almighty. We will reach towards the skies and know this, no power in the world can harm our faith. We must stand united in our struggle and reach towards greatness.
