Google CEO Sundar Pichai's Quora Account Hacked By Teen Ourmine Hackers
Teen hackers were able to exploit a vulnerability in Quora's systems to hack Sundar Pichai's Quora account and send out a promotional message that your security needs to be improved.
Who is Ourmine? Ourmine comprises of a group of 3 teenagers who intend to hack famous accounts to expose weaknesses in Social media systems or the base network itself. They have been involved in hacking the accounts of Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, Amazon CTO Werner Vogels as well as a famous Vox media reporter Matthew Yglesias. When accounts are hacked, then expected the unpredictable but these fellows are merely sending out promotional links and advising to upgrade their security.

This exposure begs to question our everyday security practices. There are mistakes and limitations of organizations too but we shouldn't let our own guard down at any time. Use 2 factor authentication and make sure to keep your passwords strong. Or you'll turn out as free promotional package or worse for some devils on the internet.
