Mate 9 Specs Prediction - Huawei's Upcoming Flagship Phones To Arrive On 1st September

Huawei upcoming flagship, possibly a successor for the Mate 8 will be arriving on 1st September as press invites have been rolled out for the event. Of course, it is too early to speculate but the only possible flagship would be Mate 9 or as Huawei would name it.

Currently, there are no rumours or speculations about the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 so I'll be the first one:

•  It would most likely be powered by the upcoming Octa-Core Kirin 960 which has a 16nm Lithography and promises a lot better performance per power because of integration of Artemis Cores. 
• RAM would be most likely around 4GB at maximum
• The display will remain 6 inches but the resolution will be bumped up to 2560 by 1440 pixels. That would result in a sharp 490ppi on an AMOLED screen.
• The battery would most likely see a small upgrade to 4500 mAh and will remain un-removable.
• Storage variants will be 32/64/128GB. I expect Huawei to introduce a 128GB variant too this time around.
• Huawei Mate 9 will feature the same aluminium design as its predecessor.

Those are pretty much my predictions of the upcoming Mate 9. Huawei's event is just before IFA 2016 which takes place around 2nd September to 7 September in Germany. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Mate 9? Are you looking forward to it?
