Microsoft Continues Acquisition Spree By Buying Messaging App Developer Wand Labs

Just when we thought that Microsoft had enough for millennia from its Linkedin purchase, they just acquired Wand to make it their second High Profile acquisition this week.

This acquisition is intended to give a boost to Bing Intelligence as well as enhance the development of messaging apps and chatbots(read Cortana). David Ku, Vice President Information Platform Group elaborated it saying that this acquisition is a part of our vision to bring forward Conversation as a Platform which was also given some keynote by Satya on Build 2016.
Wand Labs will be joining the Bing Team. It was founded in 2013 by a Google Veteran Vishal Sharma. What is your take on this acquisition by Microsoft?
