BlackBerry DTEK50 Is A $299 World's Most Secure Rebranded Smartphone

BlackBerry is making wise and wiser choices day by day as it changes ecosystems from its outdated BlackBerry OS to the traditional Android. They have released the DTEK50, a $299 smartphone pairing the Snapdragon 617 with 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage upto 2TB.

It should be noted that this smartphone seems like a rebrand of Alcatel Idol 4 which was announced at the beginning of this year. The design of both the phones are way too much similar. The only thing that distinguishes are the camera sensors and the front flash on the Alcatel Idol 4.

BlackBerry has touted it as the world's most secure smartphone to date(which it does to all of its smartphones being clear). Aside from pairing the above stated chipset, RAM and storage configuration, The phone has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and a 8MP front selfie snapper.

The phone is available for preorder on BlackBerry's website.
