Our Predictions and Everything We Know About The Samsung Galaxy Note7

Only a week left before the potential launch of Samsung Galaxy Note7. There have been many predictions and rumors, from Dual Camera Sensors to Iris Sensor. We are going to take a look at what we know so far regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note7.

Firstly, we will let Samsung explain why this phone is not the Note6. Now on to the predictions:

Performance

Samsung Galaxy Note7 will most likely feature the Octa Core Exynos 8893 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz or the Snapdragon 821 paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB minimum storage. The Exynos 8893 was benchmarked on GeekBench with an impressive 2300 Single-core performance score and 8110 multi-core performance score. Meanwhile in regards to Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm has promised a 10% performance boost over the Snapdragon 820. It's also a force to be reckoned with.

Design and Outlook

Samsung will most likely be retaining the aluminium design for the Note7 while boosting the screen size up to 6 inches or so. Furthermore there are reports of an Iris scanner on the forehead of the phone which will help reinforce security measures.

Compared to the Note5, this would be a significant change in design and features, display resolution will be 3840 by 2160 pixels amounting to a 734ppi pixel density resulting in an extremely sharp and bright display. Storage options are 32GB/64GB/128GB which are expandable via microSD. The device is expected to weigh around 169g which is a tad lighter than the Note5.

Around 5 Million Units are expected to ship this fall.

Colors are: Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note7 will have a Dual Camera setup at the rear with a maximum resolution of 12MP with the inclusion of Super Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) to battle with iPhone's lossless optical zoom. Front camera will be 5MP.

Battery

The phone will pair a Li-ion 3500 mAh which should provide sufficient battery life.

Pricing

Take this with a pinch of salt, our sources say that the Note7 isn't coming cheap. The least expensive variant, which is the 32GB model would cost around $940 which is around $55 more than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Let's just hope Samsung keeps its head and disapproves this rumor.

Release

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be unveiled officially on 2nd August, 2016.
