HTC Introduces Standalone VR Headset Powered By Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
HTC has introduced a standalone Vive headset which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will be able to run apps from the Viveport platform which was announced in August last year.
The downside of all this is that the headset is exclusive to China but there maybe a possibility that HTC will bring out a different variant for other markets in the future. The headset is completely wireless and all sensors are integrated within. Simply put it on and enjoy.
Specifications and pricing are still unknown at this point.
