HTC U11 Dethrones The iPhone to Become Antutu's Best Performing Smartphone

The Android market is making some tremendous gains in regards to performance and overall usage against the iPhone. Just a few days back, there were videos showcasing the OnePlus 5 outpacing the iPhone 7 mainly due to iOS 10's painfully slow animations.

Today we have HTC U11 topping the charts of Antutu, a popular mobile benchmarking app. The average scores of thousand devices were taken into consideration and the HTC U11 outpaces the iPhone 7 by a considerable margin.

Take a look at the benchmarks below:

HTC U11 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-Core SoC which can go up 2.45 GHz whereas the iPhone 7 Plus uses the Apple A10 Fusion chipset.

Taking this into account, the new king of Android smartphones is at least the HTC U11. However, it should also be kept in mind that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other flagship phones also use the same processor. We are talking only minor performance difference here.
