OnePlus 5 Reboots When You Try To Call 911 or Any Other Emergency Number

In this week's weird bugs list, OnePlus 5 automatically reboots if you try to call an emergency number on your phone and yes, people have tried calling just to test it out as well. OnePlus has yet to issue a fix but apparently the culprit maybe the dialer framework and dialer APK.

The issue at this stage exists only on the OnePlus 5, none of the earlier models are affected. A Facebook video also shows that the issue can be replicated. OnePlus has only issued a statement in this regard as of now:

After Jelly effect which was declared intentional by OnePlus, we have another serious flaw. While one doesn't dial emergency numbers very often but in a critical situation where one needs help, he can only rely on his phone to call the police or so. Here's hoping it gets fixed soon!
