All Upcoming Lenovo Smartphones Will Have Stock Android

In a revolutionary move, Lenovo has made the decision to deploy stock Android on all its future smartphones in order to tackle bloatware and offer a swift experience to users. The move can also be to tackle one of Pixel's selling perks, stock Android, which has been sought after by a lot of users around the world.

The significance of this move is immense. Consider that Lenovo would be able to easily update their phones with the latest updates without making some drastic changes which other manufacturers do, like adjust the UI and even mess up the settings of the phone. Who isn't aware of Samsung's heavy TouchWiz UI? It alone has been in the limelight for its unresponsiveness and being a resource hog.

In my opinion, more manufacturers should adopt this approach at least with one series or franchise in order to have something of their own offering on the table. Google's Android One smartphone was a fantastic initiative to showcase capabilities on smartphones with modest or lower end hardware.

Lenovo also rebranded their Vibe UI to Vibe Pure UI to reflect these changes last year but the stock Android move has been introduced now. The first phone from Lenovo to have stock Android will be Lenovo K8 Note which will be launched on 9th August.
