Android O's Official Name Will Be Announced On Total Solar Eclipse Day
Sources on the internet report that Google is planning to announce the official name of Android O on 21st August, which is the day when a total solar eclipse in the U.S is expected. The source couldn't verify the information but he was pretty darn sure that Google has planned a pretty major event this time around.
Obviously, it means we won't be seeing a giant Nougat statue.
David Ruddock from Android Police first announced this via Twitter and by the looks of it, he is aware of the name of the upcoming Android version but kept quiet on it. Because it would be a huge spoiler of course.
I'm not going to ruin the surprise of the name. It doesn't really matter and I feel like spoiling it actually is kind of a spoiler.— David Ruddock (@RDR0b11) August 10, 2017
