A F1 Driver Is Now A Tech Investor After Being Inspired By Elon Musk

Nico Rosberg is a 2016 Formula One Champion and he is spending his fortune on technology companies after being inspired by the leadership skills and "don't care" attitude of Elon Musk. He has invested in companies such as Lyft, What3words and SpaceX aside from his own vlog on YouTube and remaining active in the racing world.

In an interview with Bloomberg, he elaborated on why Elon particularly inspires him:

Well, Elon Musk. I love how he just doesn’t care, he just does his own thing and what he wants to do and believes and just pulls through. Even if it’s too early, he just does it, and he creates such a momentum. He has managed to force the entire car industry to rush into mobility [digital ride-hailing, ride-sharing services, autonomous driving] because everybody got so scared that he was going to take all the business away.

Nico is also reading a book on Elon Musk and another by Warren Buffet. He has also visited Tesla and other companies in the Silicon Valley. His tech network consists of "big" European venture capitalists.
