Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Android Pie Update Now Available

Samsung has been rather slow with giving pie flavor of Android to its users. Now being done with Galaxy S9, S9+ and Galaxy Note 9, the company released the Beta update last month. The company is rolling out stable Android 9 Pie update to Note 8 users. Beta users will get the update right away.

The update is currently available in Bulgaria and Slovakia. These countries were not a part of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 beta program. The update comes with software version N950FXXU5DSB2 and has the February security patch which was also available in the beta version. However, there is no update log given by the tech giant so we are guessing it is not a lot different than the beta.

Keep checking the "Software Update" option in your "Settings App." It will not be long before Android 9 update starts rolling to other regions, too.
