Duskwood - Crime & Investigation Detective Story Review
Hello Sherlock! Are you a fan of mystery, and crime-solving shows? If yes, then Duskwood is the perfect game for you! A game to give you a chance to become a detective and solve the mysteries as well as unhide the secrets of Duskwood!
Duskwood, a village surrounded by forest, creepy as it can be, hides many of its secrets. Travelers get lost sometimes but the villagers are used to the paths and the claims of the travelers of Duskwood being scary and weird. But what are the villagers supposed to think when a person goes missing and all of the sudden, the claims of travelers and the myths seem to be coming into reality.
Hannah has been missing for more than 72 hours now. The only clue she has left for her friends is your number. Now it is up to you to help find Hannah and protect her friends as well from the killer criminal.
Duskwood is the perfect game if you want to bring your inner detective outside. The course of the story entirely depends on your choice so make smart choices. With its addition to text messages, voicemails, images, video calls, or any type of media, makes Duskwood more captivating and exciting as well as the mini-games that are included but can be annoying or difficult to complete most of the time. There are quite in-app purchases that are quite bothersome but worth it. And the graphics give the illusion of it being a reality with its sound effects and picture details.
Although the visuals are great, they are limited to mobile phone screens only.
What keeps the game intriguing is that the story progresses episode by episode, entirely depending on your answers, choices, and decisions which influence what others reveal of themselves, whether they like you, and also give you hidden evidence, helping you get closer to your goal of finding Hannah’s whereabouts and the killer criminal as well. Although it may seem annoying to wait for the next episode, actually it’s because the game is still not finished yet. They are still working on the sequel so you’ve to wait for new updates, but the game still gets you hooked! So far, there have been 8 released episodes and more are to come!
