Cricket League Review: Build Your Own Cricket Dream Team!
Are you a cricket frenzie, who can’t stay away from it even when on the phone? Are you looking for a cricket game that not only channels but ultimately also challenges your inner batsman or bowler? Well, then you’ve landed at the right place. We’ve got just the game for you.
Cricket League is a cricket game designed to allow the gamer to not only witness the true spirit of cricket but also play the game with friends & family. Seemingly, the game follows a similar concept to that of the much popular Howzat cricket game but the Cricket League does come with its fair share of differences as well.
The game provides the player with only one over & a single wicket to defend. You’re supposed to score maximum runs in this one over to provide your opponent with tough competition, while at the same time defending your own wicket. Whatever your score maybe by the end of this one over tenure, will become the defending score for your opponent. To achieve a good defending score & place your opponent in a tight spot, you’ll have to time each of your shots perfectly. The timing here is the making or breaking point for your game.
The game-play is quite interesting here with each match spanning roughly over a term of four to five minutes. This is probably what makes this game addictive and keeps the user hooked at their screens on hours end. The game randomly selects an opponent against you from around the world during matchmaking. You can also play the game with your friends by logging into your Facebook account. The first time you login into your Facebook account, the game credits you with extra gems that can come in handy for buying rare items in the game.
You can also form your very own dream team by selecting your favourite players from around the world. However, these players can only be unlocked after either completing a certain amount of tours, levelling up by winning games or by directly buying them by using rare gems in the store.
The best feature about this game is that it caters to both kinds of audiences, the one that knows the basic rules of playing cricket as well as the one that has no knowledge of it. How? do you ask? Initially, when you start the game it automatically takes you into a practise mode where you’re required to complete your practice both as a batsman and a bowler. This sets the tone for the rest of the game, by making you recall the basic rules of playing cricket.
To play the game you require a certain amount of coins to bet depending on the type of tour you’ve selected to play, as the tour number increases so does the amount on the line.
The game comes bearing impressive graphics and we didn’t observe any glitching as well, thanks to the small storage space the game occupies. Stellar graphics packed with easy controls is one killer combo that can make any cricket frenzie fall.
The game provides the gamer with easy to use minimalistic controls and even if you’re someone who’s new to mobile gaming, you’ll easily get a hang of it. All you need to do to have amazing gameplay is perfect timing. Which automatically improves once you’ve played four to five games.
All in all, it’s an interestingly fun game that literally is a treat for not just cricket fans but also for the gamers who enjoy playing engrossing android games.
