Released in 2014, July.
Performance
Lumia 530 is powered by a Quad Core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 with Adreno 302 GPU and 512 MB RAM. This phone’s performance is good enough to satisfy the budget level barriers.
Design and Outlook
Available in Bright orange, Bright green, White, Dark grey. This phone has a 4 inches screen with 480 x 854 pixels (~245 ppi pixel density) and polycarbonate back finish. The phone is pleasant to hold and the look is good for a budget range phone.
This Phone doesn’t support 4G/LTE.
Camera
This phone has a 5 Megapixel rear camera without but no front camera. Video calling will suffer because of this and photos taken from the rear camera may suffer lack of detail and brightness due to no flash.
No Flash and Front camera
Battery Life
This phone has a 1430 mAh battery which is below average for today’s standards. Don’t expect it to last long while multi-tasking or running demanding apps.
Value
This phone was released around 150-200 USD but now retails for
70-80 USD which is okay enough for a phone of this type.
Verdict
Lumia 530 is a fine phone for the budget but no front camera will perturb users who have to make video calls.
