Lumia 640 LTE is powered by a Quad Core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It’ll provide average levels of performance which will be sufficient for most tasks but demanding apps/games such as Infinity Blade etc may or may not run as smoothly.
Design and outlook
Available in Glossy cyan, Orange, White, Matte black polycarbonate casings which provide smooth feel. This phone has a 5.0 inches screen supporting 720×1280 pixels resolution with ~294 ppi pixel density. The display will be good and vibrant though not as detailed if compared to flagships but okay in the category budget range smartphones. This phone has an expandable 8 GB storage.
Camera
This phone has a 8 MP rear camera and 1 MP front camera. It should provide fairly high quality photos.
Battery life
This phone houses an Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery which should provide ample battery life for most tasks throughout the day.
Value
This phone was initially available for 240 USD which is good considering the specs and fitting it nicely into the budget level category.
Verdict
Lumia 640 LTE is a good budget range smartphone which will serve well on most tasks.
