Released in 2013, Nokia Lumia 1520 was the first Phablet from Nokia.
Performance
Nokia Lumia 1520 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It is capable of running every app out there and able to do heavy multi tasking with out breaking a sweat. Excellent optimization of Windows Phone OS will also give this smartphone an advantage in everyday tasks making it more swifter.
Design and Outlook
Polycarbonate finish with rectangular look. It is quite big 6″ phone but with a less weight of 209 gm. Quite comfortable to hold and fills up the trait that is held by most Lumia phones. It offers bright, detailed Full HD display on 6 inches screen.
Camera
20 megapixel rear camera promises to take high quality and well detailed photos wherever you may be.
Battery Life
It is supported by a pretty large battery capable of providing 20 hours of talktime and should last pretty long even on the most demanding tasks.
Value
Initially priced around 600-700 USD and now retailing for 500 USD, the price is okay for a former flagship phone.
Verdict
Nokia Lumia 1520 is overall a pretty exceptional phone with awesome specs. Though the weak point to some may be the Windows OS due to the lesser apps but the OS itself is pretty nicely built and suits the phone and offers great levels of app optimization too. Overall the phone is pretty good capable doing everything you would want to do on a smartphone and pretty efficiently as well. It priced well and should be a great buy for Windows Phone lovers who want a phablet that offers an all in one experience.
